Planning Poker
Free online planning poker: create a room and estimate tasks together with your team — no sign-up
What is planning poker?
Planning poker (also called Scrum poker) is a simple way for agile teams to estimate tasks. Everyone picks a card with their estimate in secret, then all cards are revealed at once. Nobody gets anchored by the first number said out loud, and big differences start the right conversation.
How it works
- Create a room. Give it a name, pick a deck and, if you like, protect it with a password.
- Share the link. Teammates open it in any browser and type their name — no accounts, no installs.
- Vote and reveal. Everyone picks a card, the host reveals them, and you see the average, the spread and whether you reached consensus.
Why teams like it
- Free and no sign-up. Create a room in seconds and start estimating.
- Any scale. Fibonacci, modified Fibonacci, T-shirt sizes, powers of 2 or your own cards.
- Private rooms. Lock a room with a password when you estimate sensitive work.
- Real time. Votes, reveals and new rounds show up for everyone instantly.
- Re-vote in one click. Flip the cards face down and vote again after a discussion.
- Fun built in. Throw emoji at teammates, vote with any emoji and discover a few surprises along the way.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Create as many rooms as your team needs — there are no plans or paywalls.
Do participants need an account?
No. Anyone with the link can join by typing a name; for a private room they also need the password.
Does it work on phones?
Yes, it runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone.
Are my estimates stored?
Rooms live only while you use them: there is no history and nothing to delete. A room is removed a day after everyone leaves.
